Terracotta MasterClass 2018 was a six day workshop organized at the Garai Art Centre, Kolkata that introduced the participants to terracotta sculpting techniques. The workshop provided beginners and emerging artists with an opportunity to learn sculpting from the eminent senior sculptor Shri. Tarak Garai, who guided them through the whole process, from preparation of the clay, making of the sculpture to firing of the clay figures, sharing his invaluable experiences and tricks of the trade.

Post the masterclass IGA Galleria  organised an informal closing ceremony at the venue followed by a much elaborate and formal group exhibition in a reputed gallery in Kolkata with the artworks  produced by the participants in the workshop.
